Demo should help me decide much more easily whether it's a rental or a purchase for me.

Achievements. Only a couple of multiplayer achievements, but they're a bit harsh. Not 10,000 kills harsh though

Achievements seem quite simple, still take a while to get but no silly ones that I can see

That is so true. I recently got it for my PC and the northbridge fan has died rendering my PC useless

I'm hoping the 360 version is good to play.
