American drama - Overkill

So Series 2 of Prison Break ends after 5 months and they are still not in the clear... and it goes to 3rd series.

It's laughable it really is....

What is it with American drama that they have to go so over board and over kill everything.. ?

I have this vision that the guys who write and produce these dramas are the same guys in the Orange 3g ads :

John Cleese

Vader

Some others=
