360 VGA cable - does this look genuine to you?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VGA-HD-AV-CABL...QQcmdZViewItem
Super cheap on ebay but the price makes me think it might not be genuine. The picture packaging looks pretty good though. What do you reckon?

Fwiw I dont have an official one and it's been good as gold for me. Had a colour washing issue but that was down to the 360 not the cable (and has been fixed in the latest dash).

I did think the packaging wasn't quite right after a few comparisons but thought I'd ask for a second opinion
After already having to have a muckaround with this VGA stuff (TV and 360 problems) I'd rather grab an original. I'll keep checking ebay and other sale places. If I can't find anything soon then I'll just grab a new one.

Found a better pic of the copy cable packaging...
Think I'll hang on and get a genuine cable at the weekend.

I don't have an original one either, got it off gameplay but it seems to work great.

Maybe it's not such a gamble? Only thing that bothers me is that I've already had problems with VGA on our TV. Some say it's a TV problem, others blame the Xbox. I've already bought a Belkin KVM to get it working (£11 ebay job) but now I think the MadCatz VGA cable I've borrowed is causing the ghosting. Somebody else on AV forums went from a MadCatz cable to a Microsoft one and their ghosting disappeared. I need to buy a cable anyway but I'm reluctant to buy a cheapy :/

I think I've heard of problems with madcatz ones before but don't quote me on it. Tbh it probably makes sense to go for the official one instead of skimping considering the TV involved.
Normally I'd have gone for the official one but money was/is tight and I decided to gamble and it paid off.

Picked up a MS VGA lead tonight along with my Forza2. Can you believe it only bloody works straight off. No need for faffing around with a KVM
