Is this a good price? 250GB Seagate $74USD
Currently at work we've got a clearance on these drives (quantity of three) and I'm just wondering if that's a good price or not. Are they a good drive? I'm thinking if I can swing it next payday (or I can hide them at work until I can afford them) I might buy two and pass my current WD 185GB on to my wife.
Ideas? Comments?

I guess that depends a little on which model it is (there are at least three or four different Seagate 250GB drives - and that doesn't include the PATA or SATA versions).
As for the price, I tried one online retailer over here and they have brand new Seagate 250GB drives starting at $78 inc. taxes, but whether that drive is comparable to yours in terms of specification, I can't say. Edit - same retailer as FakeSnake. Scary. |

I'd say this is a better option and I didn't put a lot of effort in to looking:
