Default Video Camera

No I haven't just won the lottery

Need to source a video camera for work... the last one I used was in Uni 4 years ago and was a Sony () had a slide on battery and used a Mini DV.

I assume that they have built in HDD now or something...or can burn to DVD? Does anyone know anything about them and could have some suggestions?!?!

I need to buy it for use next thursday.

Thanks in advance!

You can get ones now which record straight onto DVD though I'm not sure how good they are Will have a look and let you know.

You can also get camcorders that record to SD card now. No moving parts, but I'm not sure how picture quality compares.
