Default DVD BURNing - error message

Hi,
I have just installed a new Samsung DVD RW DL optical drive, Sata format. ( Samsung SH-S203BEBN 20x20 DVD±RW Dual Layer Serial ATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM )
I was trying to BURN a DVD film on to a DVD DL -R disk when I had a error message in NERO Recode
required File'VTS_10_0.VOB' is not present

I am using Slysoft as the decryptor.

I have put the error message in google and not getting any leads what this means !

The optical Drive I took out was a LG which work fine with NERO Recode
I have BURN using 'Clone DVD' which works with the new Samsung drive

Any ideas please

many thanks

looking at the resources, I'm not sure all DVD players/writers can use VOB???

Go into Nero, and select new DVD.. Locate the VIDEO_TS folder and drag the .vob files into the VIDEO_TS folder. Thisis Neros Authoring tool... then select the files and burn..

Failing that, use try using DVD Shrink to convert the Video OBject to MPG..

I am not sure why I am having trouble with this. As NERO worked fine with recent drive an LG DVD +/- R/RW DL-R opitcal drive ! ?
I will have a look for those .vob files

many thanks

it maybe that your new drive doesn't recognise video object files... try converting them using the Nero authoring tool or DVD shrink.

hmmm, not why this is really !
I have BURNed using DVD Clone, it seems NERO Reloaded is not going through the whole process for BURNing, as it seems to go to quickly from scanning in the DVD to the BURN !

I will try to BURN a NERO Slide show from my SLR photo's and see if that works.

Buring JPGs is not the same as buring VOBs..

Did your try moving the VOB (Video OBject) files into the VIDEO_TS folder?
