New family car ! yay !
Finally went to BMW, Audi and VW garage today and came home with a Audi A6 2.4 petrol, Multi transmission (semi auto 6 gears), central locking, engine immoboliser, climate control and 2001 plate, 1 owner (female), full service history, 12 months warranty of parts and labour, 6 months road tax and the amazing thing is that only 26,000 miles ! All for £10,000, haggle down from £10,995.
Thank god he like that Audi, and manage to get him away from that crappy plastic piece of junk that is the VW Jetta. the inside of the Audi is much much better quality than the VW. Even thou it is 5 years old, the noise (of lack of) when you shut the door sounds a lot nicer than the VW. All the dials work, everything is like a new car! Here's a couple of pics taken from the phone. |

Nice that, I like Audi a lot and if the S3 wasn't soooooo boring I'd have snapped it up.
Beware the service and parts costs though! Find a decent VAG specialist in your area and stick with them the second issue I had was there isn't a decent VAG independant near me so taking it for fixing would mean a long drive in a broken car which isn't ideal. Its a big car for a 2.4 but the inside will be lovely MB |

Well, he only plans on keeping it for 2 years, and with 12 months parts and labour warranty already on it so fingers crossed the 2nd 12 months should go by without anything breaking. Add to that its only done 26,000 miles in 5 years, the old owner can't have been driven much, the car has probably never left the county.
