Think of it as a Christmas Pantomime version of Doctor Who.

Then you'll say "actually, it was pretty damn good."

But if you think of it as a normal episode of Doctor Who then it wasn't great.

Whatever you do, don't take it seriously!

This is the first time I've watched Doctor Who since the 1980s - and I took it exactly the way Feek said, as a bit of spoofy version - I thought it was great! Currently downloading the first season (with Christopher Eccleston) so look forward to watching it - a bit apprehensive of B.Piper though....

Can't wait!

I thought it was pretty good, but then I did take it as a panto type thing

Will: B.Piper is surprisingly good, you just never quite expect it of her for whatever reason but she makes a great Doctors Assistant.

I thought it was poor and was nearly saved by Kylie. I was hoping she would show a bit more flesh in her maids outfit.

Have to agree with you on that one .. I thought you was looking very tired, and probably started filming just after remission.

And the actual episode? Camembert (really stinky stuff) with a layer of month old brie and some really gopping Stilton.

Not the best ....... More like the Poseidon Adventure in mho.

Happy New Year

Umm.. maybe thats got something to do with the Poseidon Adventure being one of the main influences? If you look closely you'll spot some "The Towering Inferno" influences too. It was deliberately meant as a parody of both, the former more than the latter
