Incident when shaving. OOoopps. A Huddyism?
Tonight, I did my usual Sunday evening trick of having a good decent wet shave - Most weekday mornings I just run over my chin(s) with an electric which although rubbish is good enough for work.
However today I decided that my beard had got too bushy and needed a trim. I knew it was bushy as I found a nest of Swallows in there yesterday. European ones, before anyone asks. So, out with the poncy hair trimmer things and on with the number one guard. The blades seemed a bit dry so I looked around for some oil. No sign of the official stuff. Ahhhh, this'll do. It's got a foldy down lid with a nozzle thing, I upfolded it and gingerly tilted the bottle over the blades to get a few drops out, but a full stream of oil fell out onto the trimmers, all over the blades. Oops. I mopped up what I could and proceeded to trim the beard, making sure I did my usual Hitler impression when I got to the moustache "You vill get me a beer", "Ve haff vays ov making you cook ze tea" etc etc and then I had my proper wet shave. Now my chin(s) have the delicate aroma of Aramis shaving foam mixed in with Napier Gun Oil. Impressive.
