12V transformers
As some of you may remember, our Kitchen lighting is shoddy. Now I've decided to try and replace individual transformers and run 12V halogens for best quality light. I've found this pack of 10 12V transformers on ebay, but wonder if anyone can vouch for them
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/60VA-12V-LOW-V...QQcmdZViewItem They are soft start (should lengthen bulb life) and are dimmable (should I wish to dim them - which I wont). We have 8 holes in the ceiling, so 10 would give me a couple spare (may need to put in another light on one side of the kitchen anyway). So, Wise men and Gals of BD - are these gonna be ok, or should I spend time looking for a particular branded one? Pack of 20 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20-x-60VA-12V-...QQcmdZViewItem |
