Opps.. I fell over... Lucky really
Ok, so you may not "adam and eve" me here but here goes.
On saturday, I got Daniel out of his cot and brought him down stairs. I slipped about 5 steps from the top luckily falling backwards, bumping down each stair on my back. I had Daniel firmly gripped on to my tummy/chest. I landed on the bottom pretty much in pain but Daniel was just laughing at the ride i think. hehe

Careful dude, it's so so easy to do some serious damage to your spine like that! Glad you're ok and that Daniel is ok too. It's scarier thinking you could have dropped him really For the first time reading one of your Huddyism I'm not thinking "clown" I'm thinking - "holy **** that could have been bad and **** that could have hurt".
Glad you're ok, and glad it wasn't more serious and that Daniel enjoyed himself as a result of your pain!

You really couldn't make this stuff up.
However, as Will says, be careful. Did you fall over something or just not look where you were going? I don't know what the stats are for people ending up in hospital after falling down stairs, but I'd imagine the odds are pretty high. Glad you're both OK though. |

I tend to hold him in front with both arms linked anyway. As i slipped my legs went outwards. If there had been a bannister there I'm wondering if it would have spun me sidewards. As it was, I went straight down. I only have a small carpet burn and a sore back.
