Default BDRSC - Tak - Pork Slices

Hope no one minds me having a go

Shopping list:
Bag of new potatoes - £1 - used half (well used all but thats only because I burnt the first half )
Pork slices - £1.67 - used half
Winter veg steam pack - £1.50 - used half
Very Lazy Garlic - £1.48 for the jar - used about 2 teaspoons worth
Chilli infused olive oil - £1.98 a bottle - used about a tablespoons worth
Hot paprika - £1.25 a jar - used 1/2 teaspoons worth

This is a nice simple lazy meal (always lazy meals when Mic is on nights)

First I chopped the new potatoes into quarters and put them into a frying pan with the chilli infused oil

After they had started to brown I added the lazy garlic and the paprika

The veggies got steamed and the pork sliced got grilled (forgot to photo this)

I drained off the potatoes and used some kitchen paper to pat off excess oil (trying to be healthy )

Then I served

Its nothing fancy or difficult Only thing I'd do differently next time is add a bit more paprika to the pots

Are you a full veggie or a semi veggie (still eat fish)? I have cooked for both kinds before

I'll try to think up something with "fake" meat next time - will be a good excuse to practice

i (we) don't eat anything that has died, or suffered in order to produce food
no meat, fish, gelatine, nothing refined with isinglass (so lots of beers and wines are out), no cheeses made with rennet, no animal fats, no whey... the list is endless!

What about substitute the pork for fried haloumi slices or a roasted courgette stuffed with feta? Your choice but I'm sure there is feta and haloumi out there made with veggie rennet.

But the veggie rennet thinks it's better than the real stuff, and therefore bullies it meaning the animals suffer
