Talking No Tango No Cry

WHY didn't I do this sooner???? Probably because the front indicators cost so bloody much because you can only get original Nissan ones. Still, 15 mins of fitting and they've changed the look of the car. Really pleased Just need to fit my silver bulbs when they arrive to take away the fried egg effect!

From this... (you can't see, but the right indicator is cracked and full of water. My bulb finally gave out last week due to just completely corroding up because it was constantly wet... so I had to replace them really )

To this...

It looks so much fresher without all the nasty orange on it. Just need to wait for it to dry off a bit so I can do an oil change and wash her

SO much better. I've done the same to the Alfa - looks so much better.

Ok what's next on the agenda?! Are you getting some better lights too? OR shall I buy those for you for a birthday present? :P

I would like some HID's please I decided that I was going to spend some of my bonus on the car and had to make the choice between new indicators or HID's. It was a pretty tough job deciding, but in the end it came down to the fact that I need new indicators anyway and the mornings are getting lighter so I don't use my headlights so much. I think HID's will definitely be next though as they're more affordable than other stuff I need. I think my first engine mod will be a FMIC when I can afford it

SUCH a big list and so little money!! hehe

New year - it's only a stopgap between something awesome again, just trying to save a bit of money at the moment.

Kate, the modding bug gets addictive, I haven't owned a single car that hasn't been fettled - it rocks

Well I don't want to do anything else externally, apart from sorting the arches, getting the bumper re-sprayed and maybe getting new wheels at some point. I absolutely adore the way my car looks (yes, I know I'm odd ), so I don't want to change it from standard really.

I'm very aware that the engine has done a lot of miles, so rather than putting loads of strain on it by fitting a new turbo etc., I just want to do some mods to help it along the way first. FMIC will be a massive bonus as the SMIC are notorious for being a bit crap.

I've had it 8 months now and I still absolutely LOVE it

You getting used to it now? Getting the back end out and feeling more confident in the wet?

Hmmm, not really. If the back end comes out when I pull out of junctions, I can handle it now but I don't purposefully hold it out. Trouble is the severe lack of wide open tarmac'd spaces around here that aren't patrolled at night. It really frustrates me that I'm not confident enough to try and hold it out in a slide. Just need somewhere to practice without being busted
