Opera + latest Gmail = No sign in?

Does anyone who uses Opera have problems signing into Gmail now? I used to be able to but now I can't. Can login fine with Firefox no probs.

Check the comments on the desktop blog, its a known problem for the last two builds. It works once but if you sign out or do something so you have to sign back in it fails, something to do with cookie handling... Use the build from easter i think for working gmail

You miss out on acid3 though... I'm just about getting by with the latest, i open gmail and dont close it, if i have to log in again, log in it never loads up but when it hangs there, keep pressing back sometimes it gets you in

This is with Opera 9.27 btw.

Edit: Huh THAT is weird. Literally as I posted this post I went to Gmail and it didn't even log me in, it went straight to my Gmail inbox as if I was already logged it.

Oh, 9.27 should be fine then, the newer 9.5's have a few little niggles every other build with google apps, google unfortunately aren't great at cross coding it seems...

Well it is a weird situation. I couldn't log in at all this afternoon. I was pressing CTRL + ENTER and the page went white before re-appearing at the login page. Then it worked.

the 9.5 bug has been fixed in the latest build (9903)

(although i did have to F5 it to make it work, first attempt error'd!)

but i can't sign in to flickr!?!!@?!?!?!:!@!

this bloody bug is annoying me now!

can't get to loads of secure pages, like my shopto account fails on a load of pages... even clicking on the link to the GTAIV page from my preorder list!!!?!

where can i get a previous build that works?

Easter the previous build for me that worked with gmail and everything else. This latest build focuses on certificate signing and security, hence your problems. It shouldn't stop working but opera is about to get more strict basically (if you read the change log). If you want older builds go to the desktop blog and chose whicher you want
