Just a heads up for noobs like me :)
Just thought I'd let you lot know, if you don't already, that Practical Photography are doing a 6 part mini guide for people relatively new to the DSLR world.
The series looks promising so far. The first issue is basically learning what most of the modes do, how the parts of the camera work, about lenses, and basic problems. Other issues are going to cover exposure, composition, lighting, and processing. They're also giving people the chance to complete little challenges and have their images critiqued on the website. The best pics have the chance to win a Nikon D40 and various other bits and bobs. I know that most people on here might be too advanced for stuff like this but for people like me who've just started really exploring the range of their cameras it does seem really helpfull. |

Can I pick this up in a store somewhere or do I have to order it?
I don't own a DSLR, but I expect it'll be useful nontheless. |

Pick it up in store. I got mine in WHSmith but I think nearly every supermarket sells them too

Yup. Using a 1 wugglepixel camera with a 1mm f/0 lens. It has the same power as a blackhole and of course needs a Mac

Unfortunately what he neglected to say was that the only currency accepted as payment for one is the Triganic Pu.

Got the first two out of the Telegraph. They've made the rest a little more complicated to get hold of. :/
