Joost
Not sure if you guys have ever heard of Joost before, but imagine iPlayer with way more official content, all sorts of series on it so far, with lots more in the pipeline. Content seems to include stuff like Babylon 5, Transformers Gen 1, Ewan and Charlie stuff, and so on. All sorts of categories. It is ad sponsored but not too obtrusively so (got to make money some how).

I tried it a year ago when it was an invite only beta and it was the most godawful waste of time i'd ever encountered, I assume it's got better?

It is now using a browser as the interface so I might give this another go. Definitely a nice idea for TV. |

Might give it another look then, last time it was totally unwatchable, the quality was like watching a giant animated gif.

It's definitely iplayer+ on the quality front now from what I can see.
