Whats your Podcast Poison ??
Not sure how many people listen to Podcasts but I love 'em. I am not really one for listening to the Radio on the way to work so I usually have a raft of podcasts for the journey from and to home as well as in the gym. I find them a convenient way to learn new things or stay upto date with the things I am interested in. One kind of podcast I have never been able to really enjoy is comedy ones
Some of these you may find a bit boring but each to their own I guess. So in no particualr order A Buddhist PodcastThis is a good one for an introduction to Buddhism and it has a story serialised in it called The Buddha Geoff and Me. Take it as either a nice break into Buddhism or a way to get a different perspective on your life. My Thought CoachSome great 10 minute meditations for all aspects of life Gamer Cast Network PodcastA very cynical and quite funny podcast by some American guys who talk about all platforms. Although it is American, they have a lot of UK listeners so it's pretty easy to pick up and listen GFW(Games for Windows) Radio Until recently this was one of the two exclusive PC gaming podcasts along with PC Zone. Not sure if I am going to continue listening to this. Been a long time listener for about 18 months but the team has been completely been decimated with 3 out of the 4 presenters pursuing careers at EA, Blizzard and Relic Studios. The lead presenter was Jeff Green who is someone I have a great ammount of respect for as a games journalist. thought provoking and very very witty Brain Ready Some great little brain workouts to keep you occupied. Imagine Dr Kawashima for the DS on your Ipod and your on the right track This Week at NASA News about Shuttle Launches and whats going on at NASA. Science Weekly This is the weekly podcast from the Guardian covering all the latest science news from around the globe So what can you recommend and what floats your boat podcast wise ? |

Only two I listen to are Collings & Herrin, and Adam & Joe. I highly recommend the Adam & Joe one this week with their credit crunch-based songs. Very funny.

I have a few Podcasts configured in iTunes
The Archers Contemporary drama in a rural setting from the world's longest running radio soap opera. Follow the lives of the residents of the fictional farming community of Ambridge. BRITISH MAC Will Green is a nutter. So much that the boss and I have nicknamed this 'nuttercast'. The guy isn't particularly technical but he's an Apple enthusiast and his podcast is eccentric to say the least. Seriously, listen to it. It'll put a smile on your face. The Drone Bay The Drone Bay is an EVE Online podcast which explores different aspects of this science-fiction MMO by providing guides, tutorials, how-tos and everything else that may help you enjoy the game even more. This show is for new players and veterans alike. FrequencyCast UK TV and Tech An excellently produced monthly podcast with tech and TV news. It's driven by feedback from its listeners and is well worth a go. The Mac Observer's Mac Geek Gab Dave and John along with Pilot Pete come together weekly to discuss things of interest to Mac geeks, yet present them in a way that's both entertaining and informative to the average listener. MacFormat - This Week MacFormat This Week brings 30 minutes of news, review and features from the world of the Macintosh and iPod. You'll find interviews with key industry figures and MacFormat writers who expand upon their features in the current issue of MacFormat. Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo's Film Reviews Mark Kermode discusses the latest film releases with Simon Mayo. Lively, controversial and unmissable movie discussion. Warp Drive Active Every week in the WDA podcast Winterblink and Urban Mongral will bring you the goings on in Eve (except for the stuff we miss, forget or deliberately ignore).

Pottercast Harry Potter stuff, got a bit boring after the last book was published. MacBreak Weekly Ahh Leo. I got fed up with the adverts. I don't want a bloody Visa card and I already subscribe to Audible, thank you.
