Default Scene It? Box Office Smash

Damn it, my box is full

Picked up the new Scene It today and just had a cheap bundle copy of Lego Indy and Kung Fu Panda arrive. Oops!

Oh I really want Scene It :/ Forgot that was out today.

My mate called UPS about 3 weeks ago about picking up an Xbox360, he phoned MS, organized it all, hung up, walked to his kitchen, flicked the kettle on and his door went. Was less than 1 minute from hanging up to picking up, he hadn't even boxed it yet .

Oh, and I should have had Scene It today, but my pre-order my Gameplay hasn't been sent out, and is apparantly now on back order from the supplier. I'll pick it up in town tomorrow when I take in Fable and Fallout to sell. Hopefully I can create my Avatar tonight to use on it tomorrow

Just had a couple of games of Scene it with the family.

It's definately more of the same with equally annoying voice overs, but over all they've improved it in every way.

You can personally thank me all as I took part in an extended Scene It! survey (I actually won a full retail copy of Office for it). They've dropped 'losing points' for incorrect answers, there seems to be a far larger selection of games and they've changed the sequential game (put the films in year order) by letting you have as many goes as you want and slowly revealing the answers.

It comes with some predefined Avatars you can choose from and I'm looking forward to trying it with the real things... next week, grrrrrr.

Thumbs up.

Thumbs up so far!

Odd question but does the new Scene It still look the same? Same interface etc just with different questions?
Or does it look different?

Differentish.

It attempts to personalise the experience by having you pick avatars that then sit on a virtual sofa for the competition.
But the question rounds are basically the same full-screen mini games we saw before, though none of the graphics are repeated from the first game.

Is the actual layout the same though? Bit hard to explain But does it all look extremely familiar?
Reason I'm asking is my Mum and me were talking about it and she's interested but she only wants it if it doesn't look like the first one as it'll remind her of last Christmas when my Dad was about.
She might still want it anyway but I want to know if I need to prepare her (and me) before buying it
Hopefully that makes some kind of sense!

Hmm wonder if there's a demo.....*goes to have a look*

Doesnt really look or sound the same imo, but it does play the same. Grab the demo and see for yourself The avatars should set it apart enough though.

Yeah she might like that, when we first got the wii we did a mii of us both and my Dad so no doubt the same will happen again.....yeah i know that's hypocritical to the reason why she's wary about it

First one was excellent fun but wasn't sure what to do with this one but sounds like we'll have it again for this Christmas!

I'll get the demo downloaded now just to confirm, thanks both
