If you could move anywhere in the world (to live)...
Where would it be and whyyy?
For me it would either be Australia (Perth) as I have some lovely family out there, and also because Australia is known for being so much more laid back. (And Christmas on the beach!!! ) Or someplace in America where there are big houses and you can have loads of land

Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped writing about other things and made this your signature, yours could be like mine. Look down, back up. Where are you? You're on Boat Drinks, reading the signature your signature could be like. I'm on a computer. |

Canada or the United States for me. Anywhere is better than here though.

Vancouver in Canada or San Francisco Bay area in the US, or for that matter most places on the West Coast between the two above would be OK providing they weren't too heavily reliant on having a car.
Failing that, it'd have to be Oz. Sydney was great but possibly a bit too hot for me in the summer. Haven't been to Melbourne or Perth, but they'd be possibilities. Even somewhere like Jersey or Guernsey would do for me. |

Some big city just about anywhere really, but generally english speaking. So Canada, loads of places around the US, Aus. Prefferably somewhere near a beach would be pretty freaking cool. But tbh i'm quite happy anywhere really as long as its fairly densely populating with a fair amount to do around there...

Manhattan. Went there earlier this year for a couple of days and fell in love with the place.

Manhattan is a brilliant place to go as a tourist, but I wouldn't want to live there. Aside from giving the impression that property is hideously expensive (unless you head for Upper Manhattan, which is cheaper but also rather less friendly), it's far too hot in high summer, and far too crowded. I guess at least you have the subway system - just as well as driving a car there looks like it would be a bloody nightmare.
Living in one of the other boroughs would seem like a more sensible approach if you wanted to live in the area. Last edited by Mark; 07-12-2008 at 01:27. |

Basketball, NASCAR, hot weather, plenty of space/large houses. Downside being crap cars/health care....
