Was watching the Bill tonight......
And it got me thinking.... does anyone know anyone who had been kidnapped or anyone who has had a child thats been kidnapped?
these things happen a lot more than we think. Don't know if any of you watch the bill but a baby was taken and found burried in the woods I can not possibly imagine what parents/family/friends go through when that happens to have your child taken from you no matter how old they are and to then find out they are dead. So thats why I ask if any of you have been through anything like this or know of someone who has been through something like this, what was happening inside your head? its just so alien to me. Its interesting to me but not in a sick way but in a intrigued way as its just something I can't begin to imagine. Anyway not sure what happened to baby as its a 2 part episode. Its all a bit odd and I have a feeling the parents know more than they are letting on. |

There's a lot of accusations of kidnapping happen in Oxford, especially among the Asian community. Some of them are interfamilial - arranged marriage type of thing and others are to do with the rivalry between the Indians, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis. Oh and drugs too.

It is Customary these days around these here parts to Kidnap a family member to recover a debt, Usually drug related where the junky/dealer type has got into debt but has no money or his money is plugged up somewhere. Rather than kick up a big fuss & go for the guy who expects it They kidnap a younger brother or a Sister & then phone the Dude & Tell him to bring what is owed or else.

Although the story was harrowing to watch, and yes the baby is dead, the story is not all it seems.
(and yes I know its made up before anyone starts ) |

I think the mother is involved as I pressed information on tonights episode and it mentions that she has post natal depression and thats about it. Haven't watch the Bill in ages and thought I'd sky+ last nights for something to watch but it was really good and now I want to see more. Although some of the acting is shocking as its so bad lol |
