Any chance of a rough price check on this system please?
Hi guys,
Thinking about getting rid of my old PC which never gets used. I was considering putting it on E-bay and was wondering how much I should ask for it as I have no idea what it's worth now. All's I know is that it cost a fortune to build at the time. The specs are : CPU - Intel Q6600 - Never overclocked. RAM - G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PK PC2-8500C5 (2x2GB). 1066mhZ GFX - Point Of View 8800GT - With Zalman VF1000-LED VGA Cooler. HDD - 500GB Western Digital. 7200RPM. Sata. PSU - 520W Corsair. Motherboard - Abit IP35-E. CD/DVD - Pioneer DVD/CD RW. Other accesories - Logitech Rumble Pad 2. I-Mon controller with remote control. G 15 Keyboard. Saitek GM 3200 Gaming mouse. Logitech 2.1 Speakers. (Can't remember exact model but they are good quality.) Monitors - Asus 19' Widescreen monitor. TFT. Hanns G 17' Widescreen monitor. TFT. Got mobo box, PSU box, all drivers, cables and spare cables etc. I would prefer to sell it as a full system really, don't really want the hassle of breaking things down. Thanks for any advice. |

No idea, but the chances are you will get more money and sale it far easier if you split.

Base unit - ~£350. You could build it new for £450-£500.
Accessories I couldn't say, find the cheapest new value and probably about 50-60% of that is a good bet. Monitors - £60 on the 19" and £40 on the 17" ? If they're good. You can get decent enough 19" Widescreen for £90 new, so work from that. If they were cheap screens, think more like £30/£20.

The sums I made were slightly cheaper than the retails price.. Try for a reserve of £375 and you might get lucky.
Were do you live? edit - Stoke.. I'm phoning a guy later who wants a gaming rig..
