Anyone got an unwanted firewire 800 cable?
I appear to have lost the cable that I used to plug into my Panasonic video camera and my computer. It's firewire (I assume 400).
Anyone got a spare one they don't use kicking around?

I should think so. I assume it's a 6pin to 4pin cable?

Erm....
Looks like four pins at the camera end and *yes* six at the Mac end.

You looking for one that is tiny at one end and looks a bit like USB at the other end?
If so and Burble comes up blank then I've got one in my drawers. |

Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped writing about other things and made this your signature, yours could be like mine. Look down, back up. Where are you? You're on Boat Drinks, reading the signature your signature could be like. I'm on a computer. |
