Pebbles has been in the wars !
Poor ickle kitty cat, came in from the garden and her paw was seeping blood... lots of it !
So we got her into the cat carrier ( after about 20 minutes of fighting with her - she normally goes straight in ) and straight to the vets. The vet examined her and she had a massive gash on the top of her paw between the claws the equivilant of inbetween our fingers. They admited her to have it stitched up, she had to have general anesthetic. We picked her up 6 hours later, she has a mahoosive bandage and feeling very sorry for herself ( I do like the way they picked a bandage to match her fur though ) She needs to go back on Tuesday for a checkup and then 10 days later to get the stitches removed. We have to keep her indoors until it's all healed - at least we'll get a break from trying to resuce mice and frogs she brings in Thank fudge for pet insurance is all I can say |

They're very good with the collars on because they can't bloody see anything. We thought Flo was a placid little angel when we got her... until the collar came off. Unfortunately it was too late to send her back by then

*stifles laugher* I love the camo bandage, that's so COOL!
Awwwww, poor little Pebs cat. Has she been fighting?? Hope she gets better soon and doesn't drive you too mad being locked up indoors. I feel your pain on the mouse front though, we've had several pressies brought in that have had to be rescued and released again. Fortunately no frogs so far. They're worse than mice because they squeal!!

I don't think she's been fighting, I think she caught it on a nail or something.
I phoned the vet again and as long as she isn't bothering her stitches too much it should be ok - will have to keep an eye on it. She's not happy about being grounded |

The amount of blood this morning was incredible. There were laps of paws going around the table and in the kitchen. The patio was covered in paw prints and when I picked her up it was dripping. She's alright though, brought her up tough
