What did you think of the racing? Did you see the Pop crash at 150mph?

I can't remember much of it :/ But I wasn't too impressed tbh. I don't think the good cars (like the Pop) were racing on the day we went :/

I take it you didn't see any Top Fuel racing then. I haven't met anyone who hasn't been impressed by that, be they non-racers, non-car enthusiasts or Ludo players.

Nah we saw the top fuel cars and whilst they were an impressive spectacle we just couldn't really get into the whole thing as an event. Once you've seen a few cars go down the strip it all gets a bit samey and quite dull. Maybe seeing the eliminations might have made things more interesting.

What do you mean you couldn't get into it as an event? Did you not fit in with the fat sweaty smoking beer drinking tattoo'd crowd?

It was just 'oh here are two cars, one went faster than the other', 'oh now here are two more, they did the same thing' 'oh here are two more, ooh that one crashed' for hours at a time. Doesn't appeal.
