A "please arbitrarily vote for my sister" thread...
So, as some of you know my sisters band Pandora:
have gotten into the national finals for Live & Unsigned. The farce that is text voting has opened up, so quite obviously the people with the biggest fanbase get to win at that. We've been to the shows and some people manage to bring coach loads of family. We've had 5 of us at any of the shows (oh yeah, get the sympathy vote, that's a good vote) http://www.liveandunsigned.uk.com/in...d=39&Itemid=82 That is the website with all of the acts/links to their myspace pages so you can take a listen. Their vote number is "Unsigned9" which needs to be texted to 84222 at the cost of £1. They are in the Rock/Metal/Alternative band finals, so if you vote for anyone in the other sets of finals I'll not be too upset If you do not want to vote based on just my request, I completely understand. Also if you listen to all of the bands and vote for the one that you think is the best (which I hope is pandora ) then I'm equally as happy I know how these requests go, I've seen it on plenty of forums where a few replies down somebody goes "I looked at your request and then 3 further down was so much better, so I voted for that one instead" or "I voted, but I didn't vote for your one" Not saying that you guys here would say things like that, but anyways thought I'd say I'm happy for you to vote for whoever you want if you'd like to do that Ta guys.

If there was some way I could vote without having to text (pay as you go cell service), I'd vote for them in a heartbeat.

hmm, if I wasn't so busy over the next couple of weeks I'd come down and introduce you to my mum you could go with her.
It's in the afternoon on the 27th of this month.

Well unfortunately they didn't win, they seem quite happy they didn't win actually
However they had a gig tonight at the camden underworld and really wowed the promoters there, who want to get them back for a higher up slot already! Hurrah
