I think they've shown class by not using it as a positive spin campaign in their favour. Shows real class.

To be honest, Pixar do not need to comment because they know they'll get kudos and publicity from it anyway. By refusing to comment they get both angles, publicity *and* being the noble gentleman, which infact will spread the story even more. "Guess what Pixar did, and they didn't even brag" They don't need to really, do they?
Anyway, it's still great that a dying girl got her last wish. That's the main thing and what matters above everything else in the story.
