Sore and swollen...
Earlier this afternoon me and Mrs Dym were strolling to the shops to top up our champagne and fois gras stocks (ed: steak and beer).
We were happily meandering along when an unidentified insect flew into my hair. Thinking that the hapless bug was one of the myriad flying ants which have been drunkenly flitting around all day, and crashing into things due to their poor piloting skills, I unthinkly brushed it out... The ensuing jab, combined with the evil snigger uttered by the UFO, identified the creepy crawly. "Gosh!" (ed: ****) I exclaimed, as the black and yellow assailant buzzed away, "That smarts somewhat!" (ed: ****ing ******* ****) Yes, you've guessed it, the little bugger was a wasp, which had succeeded in stinging me right between my third and fourth fingers... I now have a swollen, aching and sore hand which is being treated with sting cream. The moral of the story? Never forget that wasps are ****s!

Holy crap, that's some swelling
As least it's not the hand you use to hold your pint.

That's what vinegar is for, as soon as you get stung pour it on the sting and it should neutralise it. Of course, if you are out wandering around, then chances are you won't have access to any.
