Xbox360 Data Transfer Cable
I was wondering, does anyone have the data transfer kit that Microsoft send for free for those upgrading to 120gb HDD's? I am thinking of trading in my Xbox360 Pro for an Elite for the additional HDD space. I already have a 120gb HDD I can move my data on to, but need a cable to do so.
I would send for one from Microsoft, but they aren't very quick and ideally I want to get in to GAME to get one of the offers before they finish, so need the cable pretty sharpish. Any help would be greatly appreciated and the turnaround would be very quick, so if anyone has one, or know someone who has one (and trusts me), would you be willing to send me one please? |

I have one, but the disc only works with Japanese systems (they region lock the transfer software for some reason)
Let me know and I'll post it to you, but it could take a while coming from Japan (probably around a week) |

I've still got the original 120Gb transfer kit here somewhere.
I'm a little confused though that you're swapping a Pro (HDMI?) + 120Gb HDD for an Elite (if still shipping the old SKU then + cables etc). The only thing you stand to gain is a new warranty and possible Jasper revision. Maybe I've answered my own questions. **Edit** On a similar subject, I was lightly considering taking in my warranty refurbished 20Gb Premium (on loan to a mate) into Gamestation for a PS3 Slim (£170 after trade in value). I'm not entirely sure that I really want a PS3 or just to get £80 from the 360 (wouldn't fetch that for cash now that PRO's are selling dirt cheap for clearance). It's okay guys, I have one sorted now, thanks, appreciate the offers.
I don't have a 120gb HDD for this console Zico, my dad has an Elite though, so I would be putting my 20gb onto his 120gb and then trading my 20gb Pro in for an Elite (so 2x Elites in the house) and then put my data from his 120gb onto mine, or if not, I'd give him the new HDD and put his Fallout 3 data onto the new one via a Memory Unit (only game he's played so far). If you go to GAME you get £100 trade in for your Premium Xbox360 towards an Elite console, which you can get for £200 w/ 2 games from Fight Night Round 4, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War 2 and Tiger Woods 2010 which is a good deal. Not sure if it's £100 off a slim though. Personally I'd go for a none-slim console because the PS3 slim is goddam awful looking! At least the original shape had some charm about it. |

So why'd you want an Elite again?
I'd stick with the Pro and swap hard drives with your Dad, much cheaper!

Because he wants the 120gb HDD? . He only got it on Friday, but he's got himself a few games together, but is only playing Fallout 3 at the moment (addicted).

Ahh your explanation was confusing so I assumed he was fine with a 20gb one. Makes a bit more sense then.

They had a sheet up saying £100 off an Elite for trading either an Xbox360 Premium or Wii. |
