Remember students you can get windows 7 professional for £30
As of today by providing an ac.uk email address. Bit of a bargain, I've just paid for my first ever OS

Do we know for sure yet whether it's a full copy or an upgrade copy?
I'd rather have a full copy for £45 than an upgrade for £30...

You need to be attending a school/college/uni who have a proper EDU domain and give you an email on that domain as part of being a student.

It also works with the OU, for any other not-really-students like me.
The box says it's an upgrade, but it says you can install it on pooters without an OS (tho whether that means you'll need a Vista PK I don't know).

It's an upgrade technically but even the ms website say you may need to do a custom fresh install (or words to that effect)... So I'm gambling on that. Can't be bothered paying another 50% more!

The thing with the upgrade version is if it wants a prior key off me, cos I don't have one.

Ahhhh i'm just planning to use an oem key of past? That should work balls if it doesn't though... Also I'll be getting another key with my dell mini 10 arriving soon, so fingers crossed because I hadn't quite thought about that!
