Default Rear light filter film?

The plastic filter on my scooter got smashed (by a bus) and I'm really struggling to find a replacement. Apparently the company that makes the scooter (LML) is changing hands and there are supply chain problems. So I thought I might be able to get some red filter film type stuff to patch it up with in the interim, does this exist?

I know over here the car parts stores sell a tail light repair kit that has some 3M super strong semi-transparent red tape stuff in it. Some of the kits also come with the amber tape for the turn signals.

Was the entire lens completely smashed or just a huge chunk taken out of it? Any chance of a pic? I might be able to find something over here that could be a bolt in replacement for the whole assembly. With three Universities and over 20 colleges within a 15 mile radius of me, the scooter and motor bike following is quite extensive around here.

Just big chunks taken out of it. Somehow a bus ran into the back of me and that's all the damage that was done, didn't even smash the bulb! Thanks for the offer, I can get the whole assembly from a Vespa no problems but its £40, its £8 for the lens if I can find it!
