Soooo, yeah. I still live.
For some reason I disappeared for around 11months on here.
I did pretty well when I first started up with varied opinions on man bags & going to the cinema by yourself but I kinda lost it a little bit! I feel the need for a semi-detailed update, apologies if I bore you. SO! My life went crazy. I started a long distance relationship(Edinburgh - Southampton)with a girl from Watford who attends uni in Soton. I met her in a bar in Bulgaria. Nuts. So anyhoo, after a few visits up & down the country & meeting her folks during my 4days over NYE 08/09, a harsh telling off from my elder sister to sort my life out on my birthday(cheers Kimi)I applied for uni. I got in. Southampton Solent Last year, despite the 600mile distance we spent no more than 2weeks without seeing each other. Finally in September, we moved into a house in Southampton with two other people she lived with last year. We celebrated a year together in October with an AMAZING meal at Puccini's in Southampton & we are pretty much smitten. She left mine last night to go back to Watford after spending NYE with me & my friends in Edinburgh. I was gonna go down there again, but her finances looked better than mine, so she opted for the trip. Start of term is officially in 4hours-ish but I go back down on Tuesday morning provided the snow allows planes to take off. They better sweep the runway - my girlfriend doesn't have a key for our room! I'm still training in Southampton & hoping to compete in the BUSC for the uni in the 4x100m. My hamstring almost tore completely so I haven't actually ran properly for 3 months. Circuits & weights have became my friends & I am piling on the beef. 13stone by Easter, easily. Once the hammy heals I can start getting ready for the winter ahead which will hurt beyond belief. I've lost so much fitness so Commonwealth games is out of the question this year, I'll be 30 when they come to Glasgow so if I want a major international cap, thats probably my last shout. Anyway, Uni is going amazing, working for them at the weekends as Youth Development Officer for £12.50 an hour, not bad for a student. Relationship is amazing, Madrid & Zante this year I think. I'm taking my niece for her first ever sledging trip tomorrow(she's 12, thats wrong)& then my youth club is hitting the Pentlands at night with airbeds & lilos. Life is pretty much amazing! Again, sorry if this is long & boring. I'll try & stay more active these days with all my time off! CJ

I've never met you online or in the scary real life, but I already find you interesting and are giving you a wave hello/welcome back!
Good luck with your recovery and training
