Leaving present - maternity
Hey guys (or rather girls )
Boss is leaving to have her baby and have £76 in collection. Already done a team collection and bought £20 of Next vouchers, £5 of B&Q and a Hotel Chocolat Dipping adventure for her and her husband. So now I have run out of ideas for the old dog. May be something that people do not realise would be useful/is too boring for a present, but is a necessity in your experience. Would rather not get any baby stuff as she has been a bit funny about getting stuff before it is actually in the world. Thanks all BB x |

In what sense Tink? Do you mean vouchers for Mothercare etc? Could be a plan BBx, means you're not buying anything *for* the baby, but will help when bubba comes along

Like vouchers for mother care, or open a bank account for the baby, although that might not be a great idea if it is for your boss!
Or get a little piggy bank with something which will come up in the babies life and put the money in it.

How about some nice toiletries for her?
Last time I did present buying for someone who was about to have a baby, I got her some yellow roses and went to the body shop and chose a selection of pregnancy and post pregnancy appropriate bath stuffs.

She was whinging about smellies the other day and how her mother always buys her them. (Very picky).
She doesn't like baby stuff cos she is paranoid something bad will happen and until Bungle is in the world doesn't want anything... At the moment Bungle is breach :/ and she is a massive worrier. Thanks for the ideas BB x |
