Nope, full frame off restoration. Only changes I'd make would be to fab in power steering and do a 4 wheel power disk brake conversion. Maybe put the GMC Vortec TBI and ignition off the 4.3L S-10 Blazer for reliability and fuel economy since it already has the Buick 225 V6 in it.

Either that or make it a full-on project and make it into a Diesel-electric hybrid. Onan 2 cylinder Diesel turning the biggest generator it can handle. Dump the output into a bank of capacitors and storage batteries which would power a Kostov 14.4" running at 156VDC. Direct connect that to the input shaft on the Spicer 18 three speed tranny that's already in there and call it good.
