What are the laws regarding what you can and cannot bring on a bus?
What's the biggest thing you can take on a bus? I'm currently without horseless chariot. I need to visit a scrapyard at very short notice (tomorrow) and i want to bring a rear bumper (at least) home, I don't think i'll be getting friends help, so i was wondering if the worst happens and i can't get a lift home would a bus driver let me on with a rear bumper ? I'd pay for a seat for the bumper and it can sit out the way unobtrusively and not block fire exits etc if need be ?
What are my chances? |

Cheese / Socks / Eskimos - Yes.
Bombs / Egg Sandwiches / Lepers - No. I couldn't find anything specifically on bumpers though I'm afraid

Actually, you can't take Limburger cheese on public transport in Germany. If you've ever smelled it you'll understand why.

Ha! I remember this from German class in High School, with rye bread. It's smelly stuff alright!

I have a mental image of Alex with a bumper on a leash now

It takes up less room than a pram, and bus drivers let people faff about with them on buses - I don't think you;d have a problem.

Also if it is the middle of the day then there should be lots of room on the bus so shouldn't be a problem. People carry guitars etc on busses and they are a similar(ish) size to a bumper.
