Kate iz running - London Marathon 2010 (another shameless sponsorship request)
Well, I now have 5 weeks to go until I hit the streets of London to run 26.2 miles along with tens of thousands of other people, so I thought I'd better post my sponsorship page in case anyone wants to sponsor me. I won a place with my club, but a few people have asked if they could sponsor me, so I've set up a JustGiving page.
I am running for CLIC Sargent, Caring for Children & Young People with Cancer. Their website is http://www.clicsargent.org.uk. They provide invaluable care, financial support and advice to children and their families who are dealing with this cruel and unfair disease. They are also one of the VLM 2010 Official Charities. Anyway, I won't go on about my running because it's all in here for anyone who's interested, but if you feel like throwing a few quid to the charity, then please visit this page: www.justgiving.com/lostkat I completely understand that people have sponsored others, have other financial commitments or maybe just don't want to sponsor me, so please don't feel pressured in any way. I just thought I'd post this in case people decided they wanted to give something. Thanks for reading x

Brilliant Kate!
Your running is a fantastic inspiration, motivation and achievement enough on its own! Despite fundraising myself, I believe in donating to all causes you feel worthy - I shall be adding a modest, but all worthwhile amount to your fund and I hope it helps out Cheers for your chit chat and advice on the whole running lark too

How quickly time flies! It's this weekend! I'll certainly be thinking of you on Sunday (and watching it on TV, for once). Hope it all goes well and you get the result you want. |
