Bath house sort of thing, do they exist?
I'm a big guy, our bath is standard size and I sometimes find it a bit snug!
Do such places still exist where one can go, relax in a mah00sive tub, full of bubbles and water that's monkey hot for an hour or and come away having had a good soak, scrub and clean? Nothing kinky, no "anything extra, sir?", no massage, just a place where I can go and lie in a big bath?

Hot tub in the garden?
Can you upgrade to a corner bath in your current bathroom maybe? |

There's an offer you don't get every day. Go for it
I think the public bath house in Sydenham closed in about 1950. What about a hot jacuzzi at the local swimming pool or leisure centre?

I want a really big bath. We have a "normal" sized bath (I suppose...) and it's tight in width and way too short. To get my shoulders under I need to put my feet up against the wall above the taps and sort of hunch my shoulders a bit so they fit
Our bathroom's probably not big enough to take a huge bath though.. although the wife would be able to do lengths in it if we had one. |

The nearest thing I can think of is the Spa in Bath, although I don't remember seeing any private rooms there.
And I'm not going to google 'bath houses' at work.

No, increasing the bath size in our bathroom isn't an option, the room just isn't big enough.
I've seen the bath in the PigmoPad, it may be like an Olympic sized swimming pool to you two but to the rest of us, it's a bit cozy

I've seen that sort of thing abroad many times but didn't think they existed in the UK.

They are called Slipper baths & can normally be got at your local swimming baths, I've used Chelmsford & Southends Slipper baths & they are almost the best baths I've ever had, Funny enough the Best bath I've ever had was in Brixton prison.
Probably not available now in these new carlos fandango leisure centres but at least you now know what to Google. google Slipper baths & enjoy the Best bath ever. Edit Google = Public Slipper Baths. |

I tried the jacuzzi at my local leisure centre, but they got all funny about it when I got the soap out and started scrubbing down....
