Default Thinking about selling

Canon 2.8 28mm
Sigma 17-70

Would anybody be interested in either of these?

Both. I think my other thread was looking for a 28mm? Can you give me prices?

I'd let the 28mm go for what I paid for it which is £100, it has genuine cannon caps but no box or papers, it seems good to me, pretty sharp, here at a few shots, last one is a 100% crop.

The only reason I will let this go is because I haven't had it long enough to miss it and I suspect the 17-55 will give it a run for its money, although looking at these I'm already having second thoughts.

The 17-70 is the non OS version which tends to go for the same as the new OS one because it is considered to be slightly sharper these lenses go for £165+ on TP at the moment although I paid £200. The 17-70 has been brilliant it's so much better built than the kit lens that it makes you feel like you have an expensive tool rather than something made out of toilet rolls and string, it's smooth and quick to focus and comes in the original box with a hood and a Hoya PL-CIR which I believe retails at round £30, it's a G Series 72mm

Sample shots again the last one is a 1:1 zoom crop with Lightroom

Just looking at these makes me wonder if I shouldn't keep it but I do need to offset the cost of the 17-55mm a bit.

I'm in no hurry and I won't sell to anyone else until you decide if you want them and I'd let them both go with the filter for £275 and I'd pay the postage

They won't go anywhere until I'm 100% happy with the 17-55mm and I get a few minutes to box and send them which may not be until next weekend.

Kitten has asked me to say thanks for the post MB

She said that as you not being in a hurry is great as it'll give her time to get the money together (she'll definitely take it off you).

She's 99% sure her friend will take the 28mm but will know more on Monday when she can speak to him.

I'll express interest in the 17-70 too as I have before but add that I have other priorities right now so Kitten taking it might not be such a bad thing.

OK I'm happy with the 17-55mm so I'm ready to put the 17-70mm and the 28mm f2.8 on the market. I have to say I am pretty reticent to sell the 17-70mm even though the 17-55mm is better, it was the lens that changed me from being interested in photography to it becoming something I really enjoyed and felt I was good at but I needs to go to fund the 17-55mm.
