Sometimes things pass me by

I just picked up an album by a band who I had seen advertised but had ignored, as I didn't like the advertising; because I don't listen to the radio my exposure to new music isn't great and so I don't know if they got much air time but I remember the posters being up in the underground when I went up to London a few months ago.

I couple of weeks ago we were wondering around Bluewater and I heard a track which I really liked and could have been a couple of my favorite bands from the 80s and 00s but wasn't quite right. I Shazam'd it on the iPhone and it was this

I downloaded the album and have only listened to the first few tracks but I'm really liking it and if I hadn't been in Bluewater that day at that time I may have missed out completely

I think that song in particular, is like marmite from what I've heard around school. I know people that hate it.. I personally think its epic!

I was tempted to get the album, maybe I'll give it a sample and make a decision!

You did back in January I think.. I remember commenting as I had recently heard it on Radio 2 and really liked it

I think this song absolutely blew up in America. I definitely remember that chatroulette improv guy doing a rendition of it at the request of some random.

I think he sounds like two different bands/ artists bothof whom I like a lot
