wiping an ipod
Finally sold the 6th gen ipod I got and never liked. I need to remove all the songs from it though, if I just reset it to factory settings, will that do it?
I dont want to plug it into itunes because I have gone back to using my old one, so there are more songs now on itunes than there were the first (and last) time I used the 6th gen one I am now selling. Help! |

I would have thought a factory reset would delete everything, If not set up a bogus ITunes account connect the Ipod & it will wipe it clean for you.

I think the same as Malc. I am sure a factory reset will get rid of everything and put it back to how it was when you got it.

Just tried it but it states it won't wipe any synced content.
Scrap that, managed to format it via something I googled Last edited by Knipples; 22-07-2011 at 08:44. |
