Burn battery burn!
Scary video of a laptop battery exploding
I know my Macbook Pro gets hot and I'm rather worried about placing it on my nether regions. |

I don't think I'll be leaving my laptops Folding unattended any more. I know it's highly unlikely the same would happen but I'm not prepared to take the risk - especially after seeing what can happen with those dodgy Sony batteries.
Quite scary Stan

Crikey!! My laptop doesn't get too hot which is a relief... but that's frightening nonetheless! That smoke is probably somewhat toxic too.
Imagine if that happened on a plane!

Stan, run it with the battery removed.
My batteries are old and predate all this Sony mess by at least a year. They don't even get warm, never mind hot. Should still remove them probably for protection, but meh, they're old already. |
