I'd say there's worse channels to lose personally. Sky 1 has about 2 good shows then seems to put repeats on all the time. And you can download the good Sky 1 shows anyhow

Was expecting this, sucks the big one. I'd be more bothered if I didnt have web access to download the show's we'll miss (24 and Lost).

erm - I'm gutted about this... :/
I get basic NTL TV package, and now I wonder what its worth... most channels are on freeview now I think...

In your case, you'd probably be better off with freeview then

I only got NTL TV in Stafford because I couldn't get freeview there otherwise I'd have stuck with it.

As Kitten said we just download all our shows that are on sky one so no big loss there

Think I might actually kill off my Sky contract.

The only things I'll miss are Stargate and the cricket. Not sure about 'backing up' Stargate from elsewhere, but I can do without the cricket if I have to, and it's certainly not worth £42/month.

Need to save everything off the Sky+ box first though as obviously it'll kill any remaining recordings.

I had Sky installed in my bedroom when living at the rents but didn't take it with me when I moved out. I can't say I really miss any of it.

Only thing I will miss are some of the police and beer progs on Sky Three on Freeview :/

I get 10meg my phone and TV package for just over 30 quid. NTL rock my world i don't give two ***** about telly only my 10meg and that pwns all.
Less telly more gaming i say, if Dicky branson starts messing with my connection though there will be trouble
