C&C 3 (Tiberium Wars) demo?
Got to say I was pretty impressed overall (it's a tad slow on my machine though, the 7 minute countdown takes about twice that).
Does seem a bit insane though, on easy the enemy doesn't even build tanks... Medium they do a little but not much, hard they bombard you continually. And yet, even on hard, 5 mammoth tanks and you just walk in and they have no defences to speak of :undecided: |

Yep its been dumbed down again. Whats really annoying is in the demo they even guide you through how to build a base. I mean comeon, if you don't know how to play this genre by now :/ I think its got more dumbing down then RA2 and that wound me up no end
So its either kiddy level strategy in C&C or Supreme commander which is basically churn out units continually -> bombard and win. Unless it gets more interesting later on, the early missions in sc were boring as hell. Everyone who has defended sc and c&c 3 say its for the multiplayer, well I have tried the multiplayer and you get little kids dropping out the minute things go against them.... great Sorry I'm a little disgruntled at the "ultimate" strategy offerings when they were finally delivered. |

I especially like the "handicap" feature.
1st game I went though I thought okay lets see what's what, so, Easy enemy, 95% handicap. None of my units took any damage for the entire game. Now what on earth is that about?? Sure easy is great for learning but not if you can't figure out how good a units armour is. The demo was so stupid it was hilarious. |
