I'd love SD-RAM(ming!)
A cheeky request time.
Just upgraded my Dad's PC to 512mb DDR ram from 256mb as his PC's been running dog slow and I had a spare stick of DDR floating around that I'd forgotten about. Went to see what my Mum's PC was running on and discovered it's still on SD RAM. Which I have absolutely none spare of. She's currently running XP on an XP-2000+ and 248mb RAM (Shared graphics memory ftl) so you can imagine that it's running fairly crap and like treacle. Any chance that someone's got any SD Ram spare? A 256mb stick would be fantastic if possible. Obviously be willing to reimburse for it. Thanks for any help,

Fnar at thread title
I have a 256Mb stick of PC133 RAM if that's any use to you. It was working when it was removed but that was about 2 years ago so I can't guarantee it. I'm starting to feel like your memory pusher now Now that I think of it, did I not agree to send you something else? I seem to remember you needed something I have (Fnar again) when I was inconveniently incarcerated on the rig :undecided: Stan

I couldn't resist the title
That stick would be great if you could, oh memory dealer I owe you far too many favours these days Would you rather money or a few drinks? It wouldn't be welsh whiskey honest! I know a little while back we were discussing your PS2 but I'm still trying to work out if I've got anything you want so I'll let you know as soon as I get stuff sorted out.

If Feek's is Crucial Jen, you might be better with that - mine's generic Korean stuff and may not be as good/reliable - up to you, you're more than welcome to mine if you want it (I couldn't think of a non-fnar way of saying that ).
Regarding the PS2 - I remember now. You're more than welcome to it. If you PM me your address, I'll send it to you and we can discuss an exchange once you're sorted. Stan

Sure thing, are you going to the kiddies meet next weekend? If not, PM me an address and I'll try and get it posted this week. I'm pretty busy this week so it may have to wait until I'm back at work next week and having a break from it all!
