Now that would be something to consider if you were a contractor living away. The need for a HGV licence and somewhere to store the thing could be off putting.

Thats just made me think of something else. If you are a contractor on say £400-500 /day you could get the ultimate caravan and live in that during the week. Ground rent for a caravan is peanuts per night and those modern ones are quite nice.

edit: Infact surely contractors must do this already? I would be pretty miffed dumping 100-150 on a hotel each night (london rate). Infact even in Kidderminster it was 70b&b, 30 evening meal.

Ground rent isn't cheap at any holiday site, well £1475 per year anyway. But us contractors don't care about hotel bills when the chancellor picks up the bill

I could easily live in it, it has ablutions and somewhere to live and eat

OMG, I just thought of the Night Rider trailer!!!!!!

Thats fair enough, I was thinking more along the lines where you are based in London but there is work in the Midlands. Quite often the contractor has to pick up the hotel costs, unless it is worked in as part of the deal.

Yup - chess pieces on the sides and lots of flashy lights inside. The only problem you'd have is the a/c units would block the rear access to get the car in/out.
