Default Kent people get all the porn

If anyone is Kent bound, they may want to look at this:-

VM is trialling 50mb connections. I can't see what good this will do without serious shaping and redoing seriously large chunks of their network. However with the bigger = better public this could pay off as its quicker than adsl 2 and could tempt some people away from sky.

I'm fairly happy with my 5mb adsl connection, even pulling down large files i'm not normally waiting that long.

Blimmy, 20mbps is fine for me.. I'm not sure i'd be able to justify the extra £120 per year for little benefit. I'm not sure many will.

All that porn. it'll be over in seconds.. A bit like my own sex life.. I'll have to **** a bit faster

Given the poor excuse for service we're getting, I hope they don't roll that out at our hub without some SERIOUS upgrades of our local capacity.

My concern too. My 10Mbit was fantastic, since being 'upgraded' last month it's definately not as good as it was before. Sure, the burst speed on downloads is nice (as is the extra upload) but it's at the expense of massive latency and incredibly slow browsing at times.

Well i rang NTL/Virgin on the ridiculous last night to say Yes i want to Downgrade to 4Meg. Bloke on the other end says You did last week
I have been on 4 meg for a week & not even realised the difference
Pretty much settled it for me & am a happy camper on 4Mb with a Large telly pack & Phone for 25 quid a month. Much more acceptable.
I can't believe i didn't notice though, I played BF2, RFactor no probs at all & still Pawning as Usual. In fact because of a week or two off i am Well on form with my gaming & am Seriously Pwning

So basically i have a Small E-Penis now but i bloody well use it well
