Talking Takeaway Indian

Well tonight... I canny be bothered to cook... haven't had time to eat lunch and all in all I'm absolutely starving!

So... with little convincing required on Pickers side of things... we've ordered ourselves a MAMMOTH Indian

What we've got ourselves:

Starters:

Chicken Chaat

Mains:
Lamb Dansak
Chicken Rogan Josh
Chicken Biriyani

Sides:

Curry (to go with the Biriyani)
Bombay Aloo (it's free!)
Pilau Rice
Vegetable Naan

/me sings

FATTY FATTY BOM BOMS FATTY FATTY BOM BOMS!

/me stops singing

Will take photos when it arrives and postie them!

Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom!

What's peoples favourites and why?! I fell in heart with chicken chaat and dansak within the past couple of years! I have a soft spot for pathia too - served with peshwari naan and sweet onion bhajis! Lamb is always top imo. Followed closely by chicken tikka.

My old indian takeaway (where I used to work in my teenage years) did THE most AY-MAY-ZING mushroom bhaji. Due to it being in Poole and us being in Exeter I haven't had it in yeaaaaars.

Hotty ones are okay... but I prefer a spoonful of it as opposed to a full meal of it... else your face melts off and well... I think it ruins the taste and meal. Jalfrezei FTW for hotties though! Nom nom nom nom nom!

My LORDY LORD I am STARVING! Nom nom nom nom nom!

Well done. I am now hungry.

Might wander down the local Indian restaurant after that. Still at work so it's almost between here and home.

Seriously now. This Indian had best turn up soon before I start looking for scraps behind the sofa nuushons!

I will eat my face off if it's after eight!

If I do go, I would strongly urge that no-one stands behind me tomorrow.

Mic isn't a huge fan of indian and I always feel greedy/fat if having a takeaway for one Means most of the time I make do with tesco indian ready meals or I wait until I go to a meet with you lot means I'm not 100% (or sometimes even 50%) sure what things are so you'll have to forgive me looking like more of a confuzzled idiot than normal

hmmm we've been debating whether to have an Indian or not. Will get more food than we can possibly eat for a tenner!

I'm thinking

Starters:
Mix Tandori Starter
Mix Starter

Mains:
Balti Chicken Delight
Chicken Biriyani

Sides:
Mushroom Rice
Peshwari Naan
Bombay Aloo

maybe get some chips n another naan too.

I love indian takeaway
When I was living in Stafford, they had the best takeaway I'd ever tried. I've since found one here that nearly rivals it which is rather handy

For me I tend to have: Onion bahjis, garlic naan, chicken korma (Sometimes tikka masala but I love a good korma when it's done to be creamy not the 'mild spicy' crap a lot of places do), pilau rice and chips......yes I know chips with curry is terrible Piggy will be here soon no doubt to back me up on this being a nice combo Edit: Nm, she did while I was typing

There is very little indian food (At least involving chicken or veg) that I won't eat though, seriously love it and reckon I could eat it every day np
