a friend of mine turned up at the house with a copy today. apparently though, since it's MS published if you go online with it they'll charge you with breaking the streetdate, with a personal fine of up to £10,000 (not sure on the truth of this, 2 of the gentlemen involved in the conversation are ex game empolyees so i think it's pretty spot on)

MS have already said they wont do anything to the accounts or consoles of anyone who's playing or will play Halo 3 before the release. http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=83828 http://kotaku.com/gaming/halo-3/micr...o-3-301615.php Quote:

No, no I can't. I rewatched the original trailer last night in HD. I want it now! I loved Halo 1. That bit in the middle when you enter a room and theres blood all over the walls and dead bodies. "Hang on, did I do this? No I couldn't have. Did I take a wrong turn and back track? Hmmm odd. Who killed these guys then?" A few minutes later you're swamped by Flood. Awesome change of direction. I loved the music too and can't wait for the 3rd ost. The games have a recognisable theme tune so when you're running around "being" the Master Chief and the music kicks in, its great Even my Dad knows the tune from me playing it so much

Am I the only person who's not overly bothered by Halo 3? I love the idea of 4 player co-op but that's the only real thing that is drawing me in. For online stuff I'd rather wait for COD4 in Nov which should be amazing.

I'm exactly the same as you. I was never overly fussed about Halo tbh, it was good fun especially in co-op but I never quite saw how it was so amazing according to some. I played through Halo co-op with my ex and enjoyed it but when Halo 2 came around and I was playing it single player, it just never drew me in. The online always pissed me off with the amount of kiddies on it too, it made CS seem mature which is quite a terrifying thought
