Diskeeper 2007 Pro Premier Edition
I've been considering buying this for a while, but I've just found a problem which saddens me.
If I go to diskeeper.com it drops me to the USA website where it's $99. It's a good product, I'll pay fifty quid for it. The trouble is that when one is forced to the UK site, it's £95.20 I had thought that recently the dollar for pound price conversion had gone out of fashion, obviously not Interestingly Misco have two versions and I don't know what the difference is: Diskeeper 2007 Pro Premier Acad 1 pk for £52.86 or Diskeeper 2007 Pro Premier 1pk for £76.36 Both look to be the same thing.

The first one has Acad in the description; acad = academic. I don't know who diskeeper work their academic stuff but you may need to give them proof that you're a smelly student before you can activate and use the product.

I'd like to get diskeeper as well as I've had good experiences with it in the past, but not at a dodgy £/$ rate like that (though I'm sure I could come to an arrangement with my boss if it came to it).
There are a few free alternatives, though they seem to have their limitations. |

I've been using it in all it's versions for years, the current one doesn't want to play though, hence looking at buying it. But not at that price.

Not a very technical solution but would it be possible to ask one of American members to purchase it and then send it to you? Or would it simply refuse to work as the region is wrong?

That might work, it's a download so it's a registration code - Someone could reg it with my email address and I can paypal them the cash.

I can get Diskeeper Premier Pro into a US shopping cart and it lists UK as a credit card option. Doesn't mention anything about tax but I suspect it'll charge it later. I didn't try going any further though.

If it's the version with the dll and the dal files, it doesn't work because I've gone through the trial and it's timed out. The dll is only a 32 bit version and doesn't hackle on x64.
Although that's a Pro Premier hack, the corporate may be different. Yell at me
