Vista's Broken Itself...
Right, i went to bed last night after leaving Vista business upgrading to vista ultimate - all seemed well.
I awoke this morning with my machine sat at my XP login with a message telling me that one of the registry files gave in and an old one had to be recovered. I tried to reboot and run a vista disk again and got an unexpected I/O error with Boot\BCD whatever that is any ideas how i can fix this error and go back and repaid vista? |

Backup your data before you do anything else, your HDD could be dying.

i've already backed up my user settings, but it seems odd - its a rather new WD disk thats never showed any signs of any issues until this morning
