AV Amp reccomendations

Since I'll be getting a £1000 bonus this Christmas from work and my old amp is really getting on a bit, ie it's crap, I figured I would get a decent amp, but not knowing anything about them I could do with some help.

I'll be looking at spending around £250/300 for it, so it won't be amazing, but could do with something that has a couple of hdmi plugs and optical plugs.

Found a nice (I think) one on Richer Sounds - http://www.richersounds.com/showprod...KY-TXSR505-BLK just wondered what people's thoughts were.

I have heard a good things about those branded amps. Before you buy new, have a look around on AVforums as the guys there are always upgrading to crazy spec. The second hand market is very harsh on AV equipment so there are always bargains.

If not for the for sale section, have a look around the amp, speaker sections.
